Emergency Government Spending
The US government has no money. When the government prints money, that value is stolen from people who saved money.
Paid Family Leave
A New Tax on the Poor by @jsbrads
Poor single men pay wealthy married women, in this new law proposed by the Trump administration. This may be the most regressive tax ever conceived.
One idea is funding this program by finding some fraud, but they are opening new avenues for new fraud. A woman may leave her full time job for that period, but she may work at another job that pays cash.
And don’t get me started on Social Security. Placing a new financial burden on a completely bankrupt system can only come from a politician.
Ultimately it won’t matter where the money comes from, it will be paid by the tax payer.
Government should not increase its power and involvement in our lives.

Medicare for All?! Medicaid for All!
The Left is desperate to call Universal Healthcare Medicare for All. Why won't they call if Medicaid for All?
Medicaid is terrible, no one wants it. Medicare isn't really any better, but people think it is better because no one really uses it. A large part of the senior citizen population purchase a private insurance which specializes in dealing with Medicare directly. The customer and the doctor then use a private insurer which eases the process. Additionally the private insurer provides expanded benefits for a minimal fee because its services are partially funded by Medicare.
The reality is, Medicare is inefficient. The government captures too much funds through taxation, they then keep too much of it.
This reminds me again of Obama's first hire to fulfill the needs of Obamacare, hired 14,000 new IRS agents.

Why the Left Will Fail
The Left’s Overcapture In Education Creates an Anti-Left Population in the Left.
I have no idea why technology is reversing this, but the BLM and Antifa movements share little with the Left while claiming to be the of the Left. There is a reason for this...
One of Jon Haidt’s works on population study revealed that every human population is composed of 40% conservative, 40% middle, 20% progressive [lowercase intentional]. These numbers exist for numerous populations and at different times.
Jordan Peterson described why this would be beneficial; namely, to succeed some people have to promote change while others resist change. And within this turbulence, hopefully expressed as debate instead of war, the proper path forward is revealed.
Now the Left has increased its power disproportionately within the arena of education. Beginning in 1960s the beginning of capture of the educational fields began with a rush. Naturally, once the change is observed there is a push back. But by that time the Left had people within the government defending their behavior. Prior times, parents had more power over the education of children. There are some holdouts in private schools were there is some balance. Note, I am not saying conservative only schools are good, I am saying balanced schools provide for the needs of all students in the school. But now parents don’t control their child’s education. The Left continues to “solidify” their control over the educational system. The administration hold back teachers who voice conservative views if not fire them outright. The teachers’ unions donate to Leftist politicians and support Leftist policies.
Now that they have so much control, here is where this blows up in their faces. For the past 40 years, Leftists have been training conservative minds with Leftist ideology. The problem for the Left is that this brain washing doesn’t always create a docile Leftist. They create an activist who is twisted into preserving something they heard as children. They are trying to make their universities into kindergardens. They are conservatives!
The problem is that the Left, with their natural totalitarian tendencies, attempted to control education failed even before information became free on the internet. And that failure will harm them and everyone else for a generation or more.

Morality
Recently I have been hearing a lot of atheists on Rubin Report (I am a fan). The basic assumption seems to be that rationalism and atheism is somehow superior. I want to try to generate a discussion on YouTube. We will see what can be generated, but to prepare I'll start by writing some articles.
Institutional Racism Exists
Imagine a hard working family, married with children, struggling to make ends meet.
Now they must also deal with unending crime because progressives target cops that protect the innocent.
The schools in those areas are a mess, both educationally and physically. Progressives ruined the schools long ago and now they block the free and voluntary attendance of the students who prefer Charter schools.
Minimum wage laws often harm the poor and minorities most of all. People with the fewest skills and the least job experience must now compete with more skilled workers for the same wage. Simpler tasks will be automated and fewer people needed to service machines than to complete the labor. Automation favors large corporations and would beggar a local shop, but being progressive "means never having to say you're sorry".
Housing regulations have been harming the poor for about a hundred years now. Instead of allowing people to buy what they desire at a price they can afford.
Rent control has destroyed countless building in Harlem and the Bronx and well as throughout the world. Forcing landlords to charge less than the rate at which they can afford to maintain a property has resulted in crumbling buildings abandoned by bankrupted citizens or companies. The dangerous abandoned crumbling structures are a magnet to crime and a hazard to children, but now there is no one responsible for the building.
The endless regulations in San Francisco make it impossible for even the well to do to live there; Portland is not far behind. The poor are all but delegated to a few apartments by chance from a government organization. The patrony is thick as molasses.
The list goes on...

The Second Fall of Man - this isn't how we are supposed to live
We see the dysfunction in today's society and I hear each person blame a different group. The Baby Boomers get blamed a lot, which makes sense because they hurt this country a lot, but were they the origin? Some blame The Great Depression, yet others blame the post World War II apathy, but I have a different take. All these events were fleeting and have happened before without chronic debilitating effects. The dysfunction in today's society is not the cause of a group failing, but because of one piece of legislation. It isn't because of the vast horrific generational theft which was hid for a generation. It is because it isolated our elders from our society. Every society prior to it had its elders functioning within the society. The theft of their wisdom set in motion a multi-generational decay of society. The day Social Security began.
The Greatest Generation were raised properly. Their children however were not. How can that be? Simple, teaching boys and girls how to be men and women begins at three, but teaching men and women how to be husbands and wives, how to be mothers and fathers begins when their first child is born. The Segregation of our elders from our everyday community began the day Social Security was passed. Benefits helped the elders live separate from their children, sponsored their inactivity, thereby isolating them from our everyday lives. And the nuclear family was born.
The eyes of our elders no longer watched their children. Their adult children began to fail, be it with promiscuity that their parents' presence would have deterred or prevented by their instruction in the proper interaction between husband and wife. The biological parents did not know how to rear children. And without the coaxing, advice, help and support of our elders the greatest generation failed. The family dynamic which occasionally pits parent again child could have been diffused by a grandparent, but they were nowhere to be found in the nuclear family. And the rule of children began.
The Baby Boomers lost control. They burst forth from the home and exploded onto the world without discipline, wisdom, comprehension or respect for their elders. They had no elders. They taught a cynicism of wisdom. They called custom, tradition and practice foolishness. The "kindness" the Baby Boomers showed to out-of-wedlock mothers has never been attempted by any other generation. And fatherless babies were born.
Can this Humpty Dumpty be put back together again? I don't know, but our only chance is to try. My solution is simple. Remove Social Security. The resulting motivations will encourage more familial interaction. You see our elders held no magic. They just lived their whole lives, they spent a lifetime seeing what worked and what didn't. Admittedly our elders today don't measure up to the elders of yesteryear, they had all of history to draw upon for the proper ways to live. But our elders are wiser than their children and certainly their grandchildren. It may take a few generations, but I think we will see this horror healed. And normal life begin.

Why Obama Couldn't Negotiate
One practice you see a lot of today is a Liberal asking a Conservative why they hate America/Obama/etc. There is one proper response to that. "And when have you stopped beating your wife?" The question isn't an inquiry, but slander and trying to defuse it admits culpability or allows them to misrepresent you later.
But why has this practice been taken up? It is quiet simple, Liberals don't want to have a dialog, they don't you to make a choice from two options. They want control. And to maintain control when two options exist, they must do their best to convince as many people that the alternative option is unbearable, so they don't paint conservatives ideals and ideas to being a different approach to solve today's problems, but as Evil Incarnate.
And what do you do with Evil Incarnate? Do you negotiate? Do you compromise? Had Obama allowed a Democrat to talk with a Republican and concede one iota to the GOP, that would have been a victory of the grandest proportions, it would have invalidated their premise. It would mean the people on both sides are just people, they may disagree, but that is life, different perspectives, reality, not the fantasy they are trying to sell.

Who Pays?! Obamacare Revisited
Obama said this nation is so wealthy so we have plenty of money to pay for Universal Healthcare. Unrelatedly he then proceeded to waste Trillions of US Dollars on friends and projects that had nothing to do with Obamacare. Just one thing about our wealth... if we are so wealthy, why do we have such a large debt?
But Obama doesn't add the cost of medical care to the debt, rather that burden is placed on those people who are trying to scrape by... not the wealthy.

Syria
I took some time before coming to a conclusion on Syria. Every time I asked myself, what do I think about this situation, my response was, it doesn't matter, my opinion isn't a decision of consequence. Finally I realized the Gordian answer.
Should we bomb Syria? How? Support the Rebels? How? And then I realized the answer. With the possible exception of assassinating Assad and replacing him with a moderate General, the only answer is Bomb Iran.
Sound funny? Are you scared of terrorists getting poison gas? How about a nuclear bomb? But that is not the only reason to attack Iran. When you realize that any action in Syria might have terrible consequences for generations, until you can find a positive, constructive course of action, do nothing. Additionally Iran's bloviating at military reaction alone is sufficient course to kill two birds with one stone. Deplete Iran military resources and offset an attack on Israel and cripple their power in the region while removing their capability to produce a nuclear bomb.

Corporations are Worse than Government?
I am often told that when companies operate in a part of our life, their pursuit of profits is harmful to their ability to serve their clients. and their are many counter arguments. Have you ever been to a DMV? Have you ever seen a business operate like that? But is the pursuit of profits a problem strictly in corporations, or do government agencies sometimes make the same mistake?
Do you live in a safe community where there is very little crime? Where do you see police more often? Patrolling or waiting speed traps? Catching a criminal is dangerous and costly. But ticketing people is profitable and safe.
California State government can't figure out how to balance a budget and waste tremendous amounts of money on many useless projects, overpaying union employees and releasing prisoners early because they didn't spend enough money on prison construction.

Egypt
Obama supports the Muslim Brotherhood because they were "Democratically" elected. Morsi acts like a dictator, grabbing power, rewriting constitution and Obama says nothing. Non-muslims regularly attacked in the streets and Morsi does nothing, oh, and Obama says nothing. Morsi overthrown by the military with popular backing and Obama complains about it literally alienating the US for every last Egyptian citizen.
Dennis Prager asked why Obama acted in such a way. The answer should be obvious. The racism of Barack Obama and many Liberals today means that racism against whites are okay and racism against everyone else bad and each time there is a conflict between two people[s], Obama will pick the person who is less white, less Christian, less conservative, less disadvantaged and less wealthy.
I just have one question, which would Obama pick in a conflict between a Buddist and a Hindu? What about between a Taiwanese businessman and a Siberian pauper?
FYI - I listened to Dinesh D'souza

The New Normal
I don't need to list the endless scandals, nor am I sure I could if challenged. The reality we face today is one I never expected to see and of all the faults I find in the Democrat party the story of Bob Filner, San Diego mayor, is perhaps the worst. The story of Bob Filner isn't the story of a contemptible person, or rather it is not just the story of a contemptible person, there is a bigger picture.
This man has been sexually harassing women for years. Some women may have been too embarrassed to report him, but many admitted that they did not want to harm his career. I don't know how many people were involved, but this episode is symptomatic of Liberalism, corruption is no vice in pursuit of Leftist agenda.

Milton Friedman
I have never seen one individual give answers to so many questions so easily. Fiscal and Monetary policy. Healthcare and well everything. I feel like I have nothing to add. Just watch Milton Friedman's Free to Choose <- that is a link to episode 1 on youtube. Enjoy.
Even [king] George III didn't think of this
Now clearly my issue isn't about all those claims made in the Declaration of Independence. We will tax our citizens, not based on activity, but based on inactivity. I may not be too happy if the government offered a tax deduction to people who chose to buy healthcare. That kind of arbitrary favoritism of one citizen over another has no place in a country dedicated to Liberty. But at least then the person who wants the discount has to invest the time to gain it. The reality is that the tax code as it stands now is so complex that it requires million? of tax preparers who have to submit complex documents to millions? of IRS workers who have to spend a whole year to process our tax returns. These work hours need to be moved to productive work instead of make work. Forget moving money around, we would all be better off if we left people alone and shrunk government.
Note: George III would never have tried to tax like this, would not have wasted his money like this, why should we. Millions of government employees can be wrong.

"But I have a $1200 mortgage!"
A friend of mine said this about Social Security. She is closer to retirement age than her mortgage. But I find this hilarious. Social Security isn't supposed to buy you a house. The idea is for it to provide for the minimum cost for retirement. There are small houses a couple hours drive outside the city that are available for a few hundred a month. That paired with the minimum cost of rice and beans is what Social Security is supposed to pay for. I have heard of expensive drug treatments, but if Medicare can't pay for it, maybe the drug company will provide it at a discount (I have seen commercials saying that the company has a discount program).
But when can they visit their grandchildren? But it is too far to see their friends. That is not the responsibility of Social Security. If they have a house that is paid off and a retirement savings plan that provides for steaks and wine... I wish for the same, but it isn't my responsibility to buy the same for you, which I am every time I go to work.
They have been ignoring the Social Security problem since Reagen? We will see what they will do.

Public Sector Unions
They negotiate with politicians for our money... In California, we have some direct democracy, so we can vote on propositions, allow the public sector unions to put together options for us to vote on, rather than allowing the politicians to negotiate.
